See how we got the name “Smoky Mountains” as you watch the clouds floating into the valleys and surrounding the mountains. Our 8 overnight rentals (5 cabins & 3 rental units inside Tanner Manor Lodge) accommodate 1 – 20 guests each (up to 54 short-term guests!) on our mountain top. Each cabin has direct, unobstructed mountain views, and 4 have balconies to sit, relax, and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The Duck & Turtle Pond doesn’t have a balcony but it makes up for it with wall-to-wall windows showing a direct view of Mt. Leconte and other mountains.
In the Summer, you can enjoy gazing at green, tree-covered mountains while picnicking in the gazebo, walking through the property, and spending time with family and friends while enjoying the scenery.
In the Fall, you can hike through our 12 acres while enjoying the beautiful fall colors surrounding our mountain top. Autumn makes it seem like a quilted blanket has descended on the mountains. It is absolutely gorgeous!
During Winter months, you can enjoy sitting in front of a blazing fire, staying cozy inside by the fireplace no matter how cold it is outside. Or relax in your hot tub, while still gazing at mountain views covered in snow. It’s a different, but no less breathtaking beauty.
Spring brings a whole new hue of colors to the mountains and affords views of trees in bloom. It’s something you won’t soon forget. Enjoy the fresh spring air on the top of the mountain by the gazebo, the outside chapel, and on the bench swing). Be engulfed in a 360-degree view of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee—with unobstructed views of the city and the mountains behind. Views of Mt. Leconte and other mountains and valleys overwhelm your senses.
At night, you can not only enjoy the stars, but, if you’re lucky, you can catch the Dollywood fireworks and drone shows from the balcony on The View and some other locations around the property. Spying the fireworks is better from fall to spring than in the Summer, but even then you can catch glimpses through the trees.
